About Lohn Caulder LLP

Lohn Caulder is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants, formed in 1978. We are the Vancouver representative of BKR International, an international affiliation of accounting firms, having offices in the principal business centres of the world.

The partners of the firm are Kelly Lohn, C.A., Gordon Caulder, C.A., Bill Eccles, C.A. and James McCallum, C.A. Kelly and Gordon are the original partners of the firm, having spent several years at major international Chartered Accounting firms prior to forming the firm in the 1980's. Bill Eccles came to us from one such international firm over 25 years ago, and James McCallum has spent his entire career with us.

Currently, there are over 30 staff members in the Firm, of which 8 are fully qualified Chartered Accountants, one a Certified Management Accountant, and others either articled to the C.A. or other professional designation programs, or in administrative or specialized support roles.

The Firm operates from a building within the central business district of the City of Vancouver. All major office towers and transit systems are within easy walking distance of the building.

Over the years the firm has built a substantial clientele, with particularly high representation in the following fields:

Vancouver, in addition to being a popular tourist destination, is a very cosmopolitan and trade-oriented city. As a consequence, our clients reflect that reality with many owning business and property interests outside of Canada, while many others are owned by individuals or corporations domiciled outside of Canada. Thus, we regularly deal with cross-border tax issues.
