David began his career in accounting when he joined Lohn Caulder LLP as a student. Subsequent to earning his Certified General Accountant designation, David completed both the CICA in-depth taxation course and the in-depth GST/HST course. David is also a graduate of the BKR Leadership Institute.
As a tax specialist, David assists and advises clients on a variety projects including; personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganization transactions, and purchasing and selling a business. He also has extensive experience in dealing with Canada Revenue Agency audits for both personal and corporate income tax, and GST/HST. David also leads the firm’s commodity tax group (GST/HST & PST), which assists and advises clients with all aspects related to commodity tax.
